Today we finally got to see Moonrise Kingdom. I was at first crushed to learn that it would be playing in select cities only. Then, there seemed to be a barrage of television marketing for it, which only rubbed salt in the proverbial wound. And randomly, last night, my husband saw on his Facebook feed that a friend was going to see it in Mobile. Whaaat! We promptly looked up showtimes and make plans to go today. It's everything and more than I thought it would be. If you're a Wes Anderson fan, this one's a requisite and a classic, all the way down to the famous slow-mo scene.
