I was in Ulta the other day looking for rollerball fragrances (previous post on my new obsession with rollerballs). I absolutely love the delicacy of philosophy's fragrances, so I tried some of the field of flowers scents. Not all of them are offered as eau de toilettes, so I tried out the lotions. I think my favorite was the peony blossom, with magnolia blossom as a close second. Hopefully they'll consider making these scents in rollerball form!
Do you like philosophy scents? What's your favorite?
I have tried and love: Falling in Love, Pure Grace, and Baby Grace. I am with you--their scents are nice and fresh but not headache-inducing. I cannot wear some of the more popular perfumes (even expensive ones) because they flat out make me feel sick! Have a great day, D!
ReplyDeleteWe just got a Sephora yesterday so I picked up a full size EDT (eep! a huge commitment for me!) of the peony blossom and a Pure Grace roller ball. I also got me a small bottle of See by Chloe - it's not a scent I would naturally gravitate toward but I had been reaching for my sample size often, so I decided to take the plunge. I have quite the repertoire now. I think my next will be Marc Jacobs' Daisy.
DeleteI'll have to try those others. I even like to wear the Philosophy body sprays around the house or at night after a shower..kindof a waste, but I figure DH might appreciate it. They aren't overpowering, so I use them instead of all those scented lotions I used to buy. It definitely makes my bathroom less cluttered.
ReplyDeleteAnother scent you might like is a perfume called Heliotrope. It has been in production since the 1800s. My sister, who has a very picky nose and prefers natural scents, introduced me to it. It is kindof powdery and clean also, but not strong smelling.
Also, I bought a couple clothing items off Ebay that smelled so good and clean that I actually asked the seller what she wears. She said she gives her closet a couple spritzes every now and then of Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely. I don't remember loving that when I smelled it years ago, but maybe I should give it another go!
