Payday Purchase: Crown Smartphone Pouch v2

Several weeks ago, my J. Crew wristlet bit the dust.  I had been using it as a wallet/wristlet/phone carrier for years.  I had sort of been looking for a new wristlet that was a wallet and phone holder in one.  I researched the Michael Kors cases, but the in-depth reviews told me that this is not the one for me.  One of the major complaints about the Michael Kors is that if you have any kind of case on your phone, it won't fit in it.  I have to keep mine in a case because it makes me reeeeally uncomfortable to have my phone naked because I will drop it.  So I kept searching.

I then remembered mochithings.com - it's the land of organized, efficient cuteness.  I remembered seeing some super duper cute pouches for anything and everything, so I checked to see if they had any smartphone solutions for me.  Enter the Crown Smartphone Pouch v2.  I really think this is my match.  Here you have card holders, a spot for currency and a generously sized zippered (!) phone compartment.  The only drawback is that it's fairly expensive for it not being genuine leather.  But hey, that makes it vegan and good for the universe, right?  Besides, you can't put a price for getting exactly what you want and need.  Hot pink?  Yes, please.

Also, be aware that some products available on the site can take longer-than-what-we're-used-to processing time.  I purchased this on 7/8 and when in the confirmation email, the intended ship date was 7/14-16.  If you've got patience, you're in for a treat.

  1. Hello! Ran into your blog while searching for this pouch. I know this is an old post but how are you liking (or not liking?) it? I just ordered one and am waiting for it in the mail. Looks so cute I couldn't resist!

    1. Hi there! I apologize for taking so long to reply to your comment. I ended up gifting it to a friend as it did not end up meeting my needs. There wasn't enough room for my often-used wallet contents. If you only have a couple of cards, then this may work out for you. The fit on the phone is snug and secure, but I found it inconvenient to unzip all the way around that then pull the phone out of the wallet's grip. When trying to answer a call, I was not able to answer the call before it went to voicemail... but then again, I'm not the most graceful person in the world. Hope this helps!
